Aid for Pakistan

The United Nations has highlighted the desperate plight of millions caused by the hundred-year floods in Pakistan. The final death toll, together with the number of homeless and injured, continues to rise, and still no end is in sight to this massive natural catastrophe.

However, it is already clear that many millions are in desperate need of help. Most urgently required are medicines, tents, clean water and food. In conjunction with the German relief coalition "Aktion Deutschland Hilft", the Munich Re Foundation is giving €15,000 in emergency aid to bring clean water to Pakistan.

Once reconstruction can begin, the Munich Re Foundation will support specific projects to ensure drinking water supplies so that people’s lives begin to return to normal. We and our partners will select suitable projects and keep you informed of progress.

You can help us to support the people of Pakistan by sending a donation to the Munich Re Foundation's account, quoting the reference "Flut Pakistan".
